Booking & Payments
How do I book a session at Lost Oasis Records?
You can book online by paying a 50% deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due after your session. For special booking requests or accommodations, contact us anytime by email or phone.
Why do I need to pay a deposit to reserve my session?
A deposit secures your time in the studio and ensures our team can properly prepare for your session. It helps us lock in staff, gear, and room availability so everything is ready the moment you arrive.
How do I pay the rest of the deposit?
Your remaining balance is paid at the end of your session to the staff member assisting you. We accept Cash, Debit/Credit Card, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash App.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
We require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your session.
How far in advance should I book studio time?
We require booking at least 3 days in advance. Should you require any sessions earlier, please reach out to us as soon as possible.
Can I get a refund if I cancel my session?
Cancellations made within 48 hours are non-refundable. However, you may reschedule and apply your deposit to a new date.
Do you charge for setup or teardown time?
No. Setup and teardown are always included in your scheduled session time.
Do you offer discounts for EPs, albums, or multi-day sessions?
Yes. We understand every project is different and offer custom pricing for larger projects. Contact us by email, phone, or schedule a video call consultation to discuss your project needs.
Session Prep & Policies
What is the process for setting up before a session begins?
Before your session, our team prepares your tracks, adjusts the microphone setup, and runs test recordings to dial in your levels.
Can I bring my own producer or engineer? How do I arrange this?
Of course! We offer discounted room-only rates when you want bring your own producer or engineer or you want to fly solo this session. Schedule one of our rooms with the No Engineer option. One of our engineers will still meet you at your session to teach you how to use any available gear the room offers. They will be available throughout your entire session in case any troubleshooting may be needed.
What should I bring to my session?
Please bring a flash drive or external hard drive to save your files and stems from the session. Feel free to bring anything you may need during the session.
How early should I arrive before my booked time?
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before your session starts. We appreciate your timeliness!
Can I bring guests to my session?
Yes. Guests are welcome, especially those contributing creatively, but please keep your group apart from you to 3–4 people.
Do you allow food or drinks in the studio?
Yes. Just please keep all food and drinks away from the desks and any equipment and use coasters.
Do you allow smoking in the studio?
No smoking of tobacco or marijuana indoors. You may smoke outside at least 20 ft from the entrance. Vaping is allowed inside.
Is parking available near the studio?
Yes. We have a large parking lot and available street parking.
Do you allow photography or filming during sessions?
Yes! Feel free to capture your experience! Just be sure to tag us on social media: @lostoasisrecords.
Services & Packages
Can services be bundled?
Yes. Recording, mixing, and mastering can be bundled at discounted project rates. Reach out so that we may discuss any bundling discounts.
What is included in your mixing and mastering packages?
Mixing includes leveling, EQ, compression, tuning, effects, and creative processing. Mastering includes final EQ, compression, limiting, stereo enhancement, and loudness optimization for streaming platforms.
Is remote mixing and mastering available, and what is the turnaround time?
Yes. Our remote services are available worldwide. Turnaround is typically 3–7 days depending on project size.
Can I request a quote for a full album or EP project?
Absolutely! Reach out for custom pricing tailored to multi-song projects.
What if I want to be there while you mix my song?
No problem at all! We can schedule a mix session where you sit in and give real-time feedback. Just reach out and we’ll coordinate a time that works for you.
What recording services do you offer?
We offer vocal recording, full-band sessions, voiceover recording, podcast recording, production sessions, and more!
Can I book a full-band recording session?
Yes. Our studio is equipped and staffed for full-band tracking.
Can I hire your producers for co-writing or arrangement assistance?
Yes. Our producers are available for co-writing, arrangement, and creative direction.
Do you have session musicians available?
We currently don’t have in-house session musicians, but we can recommend trusted players. Availability and rates vary based on each musician.
Can you handle both recording and video production?
Yes. Video services are available in our podcast studio.
Do you work with artists from outside the city or country?
Yes! We regularly work with out-of-state and international artists both in-person and remotely.
Can you mix projects recorded in another studio?
Yes. You can send us stems or session files from any studio for mixing or mastering.

We use a curated selection of high-quality microphones, including large-diaphragm condenser and dynamic mics. Please reach out to us if you have any requests for a specific microphone.

We use a hybrid setup, premium digital plugins paired with high-quality analog equipment.
Do you provide remote mixing and mastering options?
Yes. We work with clients around the world through our remote services.
